Quite possibly the tiniest project I’ve ever done: a warm & cozy winter onesie – newborn sized. I opted for a fully zero waste pattern layout and ended up getting fairly close: I certainly think we can consider this layout minimal waste.
Patterns drafted and validated in 3D (VStitcher) to remove the need for a physical sample. Cutting layout optimization, waste calculations and plotting done in Adobe Illustrator. First version created in February 2020 and a second – slightly improved – version created in October 2021.
