Project that started as a fun exploration of creating accessories in 3D. After drafting the patterns for this fanny pack in VStitcher with the only intention to use the patterns for plotting and sewing, I ended up simulating a quick mock up in 3D as well. It always helps to accurately see its proportions compared to the size of the body, and it was a great way to fiddle around with the styling tools – in different ways than commonly used when working on 3D apparel.
The final physical product includes 3 separate pockets and it’s fully lined – created for a friend.
